Chobe Bush Lodge

Spacious, family-friendly accommodation, a swimming pool and viewing deck, restaurant and lounge combined with proximity to Chobe River, the national park and Victoria Falls, make this an attractive choice.

Located a five minute drive from the entrance to Chobe National Park and within sight of the Chobe River, this lodge is perfect for game drives and boat cruises as you explore the wildlife and scenery of this well known national park. What’s more it is within close range of three airports: Victoria Falls, Livingstone and Kasane, making it easy to reach.

The entrance, lobby, lounge, bar and dining areas are impressive in scale and design, set beneath a high makuti thatch roof and open sided for views and a cooling breeze. From here you walk out to the open deck, cocktail bar and swimming pool, a lovely place to rest and relax between safari activities. You are also welcome to use the facilities at the nearby sister property, Chobe Safari Lodge, which include a restaurant, two bars and a health and beauty salon.

As well as 4×4  and boat safaris lodge staff can arrange village visits, fishing excursions and day trips to Victoria Falls, so you’ll have plenty of ways to fill your days at Chobe Bush Lodge.

At the end of each day retire to your spacious, air conditioned bedrooms. With a good range of facilities and an en-suite bathroom with a shower and a bath, comfort and privacy are assured.

Times to go

The lodge is open year round and Chobe can be visited throughout the year. Green season last from December to March, with sunny mornings and rainy afternoons the norm. It’s the best time of year for birdwatching with populations swelled by summer migrants. April and May are drier but you still have lush vegetation, and by June to October water becomes scarce forcing game to the river making for easier viewing. It should be noted that daytime temperature can be very high in September and October which will not suit everyone.
