Victoria Falls Hotel overview

This hotel is a landmark in Victoria Falls, an imposing Edwardian building set in lush gardens offering a high degree of comfort and range of facilities that has been welcoming guests for over 100 years. There are several grades of room, all equipped with air-conditioning, digital TV, telephone, safe and Wi-Fi. All room shave private bathrooms. Rooms are set in various buildings in the gardens with deluxe rooms and suites in the original building and having views of the river gorge and Victoria Falls Bridge.

Communal areas in the central building are elegant, benefitting from large windows, high ceilings, open fireplaces, fine quality rugs, artwork and antique furniture. There are several lounges where you can find a quiet corner to curl up with a book or sip a cup of tea. There are 3 different dining venues offering a range of cuisines and styles of dining. You should treat yourself to afternoon tea on Stanley’s Terrace at least once during your stay, enjoying tasty cakes as you watch spray rising from the falls. You’re welcome to go for strolls in the gardens and cool off with a swim in the pool or pay a visit to the spa for some therapeutic treatments.

The famous Falls are just a 10 minute walk through the gardens down to the river where there are various activities and excursions on offer such as guided tours of the falls, whitewater rafting, bungee jumping off Victoria Falls bridge, gorge swing, zip line and helicopter flights. The hotel can arrange offer activities including cruises on the Zambezi River, game viewing and rides on a vintage steam train. All in all there’s plenty to keep you busy!
