Day 1: Arrive in Livingstone

You’ll be met on arrival at Livingstone and transferred to your beautiful lodge, Sussi and Chuma, located upstream on a quiet bend of the Zambezi. You'll be accommodated in luxury tree houses, linked by wooden walkways and shaded by jackalberry trees. You’ll have a tasty lunch followed by time to relax after your flight, enjoying a refreshing swim in the pool or enjoy a spa treatment, as you wish. Dinner tonight will be in the open air dining area.

Day 2: Explore Victoria Falls

With Victoria Falls on your doorstep you’ll have no end of possible activities today. Sussi and Chuma offers a tour of the Victoria Falls, game drives in the Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park, canoeing on the Zambezi and sundowner cruises. Plus there are many more activities you can arrange on the spot in Livingstone. You can also enjoy guided bush walks, and village visits. It’ll be an action-packed day and you’ll sleep soundly tonight.

Day 3: On to Chobe

After breakfast you’ll be transferred by road to the border with Botswana. You will be met by a guide from your next camp, Chobe Chilwero, swapping vistas of the Zambezi for the Chobe River.  After lunch, a rest and a refreshing cup of tea, you’ll be taken on your first Botswana excursion, be that a boat cruise on the river or a safari in Chobe National Park, either way, you should be able to enjoy a scenic sundowner as the sun sets. Keep your camera at the ready to capture each special encounter. On return to camp you’ll be able to enjoy a generous 3-course dinner.

Day 4: Chobe

This morning you’ll venture back out in the 4×4 safari vehicle to spend more time in the National Park. Your guide will happily answer any questions you have and will be keen to impart his love and understanding of the region. In the afternoon you’ll have the chance to take to the water on another boat cruise for views of hippos, elephants, crocodiles and a variety of birds. Later, you can mingle with other guests and share your experiences as the sun sets on another stunning day.

Day 5: Okavango Delta

After breakfast and a morning activity (time permitting) you will board a light aircraft to the Okavango Delta and be driven to your safari camp. You will arrive at the camp in time for lunch before heading out on an afternoon game drive. The Okavango Delta is one of the world’s largest inland deltas situated in the middle of the largest stretch of continuous sand in the world – the Kalahari basin. Stay here for 2 nights. You may choose to spend the night in your four poster bed on the veranda, out under the stars.

Day 6: Okavango Delta

A wide choice of activities is offered here. As well as game drives and boat trips you can explore by mokoro, a restful experience as the vessel glides silently through the water allowing you glimpses of water birds and colourful frogs. Nature walks are offered subject to the availability of a qualified guide, while a night drive with spotlights picking out shy nocturnal creatures reveals yet another aspect of the delta. After a long day you’ll be ready for dinner under the stars.

Day 7:  Moremi National Park

It's time to move to a new location. Today you will be taking a short flight (by helicopter) to Chief's Island in the world famous Moremi National Park where you will spend the final two nights of your safari.  Keep your camera handy! You'll be met on landing and whisked away to your new home from home, Chief's Camp where you will enjoy friendly and attentive service, delicious meals and exciting game spotting opportunities.

Day 8: Moremi

Start the day with a coffee in your suite, after breakfast it's off out to explore African bush once more. You may opt for a game drive or a tranquil mokoro excursion. Who knows what you will encounter today? By now you'll be familiar with the daily routine on safari and you'll return to the camp for lunch and then a siesta. If you don't feel like sleeping there's bound to be something of interest to spot from the privacy of your own suite. After some tea and cake head out once more. Perhaps you'll come across one of the local lion prides, a shy leopard or even a pack of rare wild dogs. This evening join one of the guides for a stargazing extravaganza and view the southern constellations.

Day 9: Onward journey

After breakfast and your final morning game drive (time permitting) you’ll board a light aircraft to Maun, in time to check in for your flight home. Make the most of this final opportunity to view this spectacular landscape from the air.
